Fingagolf Tic-Tac-Toe

Rules

Mark out a 3 × 3 grid 1m-2m away from the teeing area.

Decide how many mulligans* each player will get. A standard game has one mulligan per player per turn, but adjust for ability. You should also decide how many games in the series – best of 5 is a good match.

First turn: Whoever most recently ate a Tic Tac goes first. This player chooses Os or Xs as their markers.

Take it in turns to chip towards the grid. If the ball lands in an empty grid space place their O or X in that space. If they fail to land the ball in an empty grid space play passes to the next player.

The first player to get three in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally – wins!

*a mulligan is a chance to replay a shot you aren’t happy with. Once you choose to take a mulligan the previous shot is cancelled and cannot be used.
